My Quoyi Parrot Fish is pretty big now and he has always sharpened his beak on the glass. This was never much of a problem in the past as his beak looks good and he hasn't scratched the glass. The problem now, is he's pretty big and he's always grinding against the glass, when he does this he thrusts his tail violently and often damages corals. Do they make some kind of beak sharpener he can chew on instead of using the glass? I found an old video about an item called the parrotfish dentist, but can't seem to find the product.

Try to entice him with rocks cover with algae. That’s how they grind down their beak naturally. I don’t know if it grows like Puffer’s teeth to the point that the top & bottom would fuse, without grinding. I recently lost a parrot fish after 2 years - he struggled to eat so I wondered.
