those arent true purple hornets. to me they look like what are called caribbean blues

They seem to be in the hornet "family," but they definitely are not PH. Hope you didn't pay too much for them lol.

I don't know how you'll can tell without any color in the pictures - I would guess maybe some type of Red-ring or Copper Ringed zoas. JMO

At there best those polyps color up and can either look like one of these.... I'm not saying they are one of these polyps but at there best when they color up they can somewhat resemble one of these but not exactly one. and is definitely not a Hornet.

if i can figure out a way to take a better more clear picture i will send it. they were sold to me as purple hornets. so i dont know.

Looks like you got them chopped up and ready to resell. Hopefully you don't sell them to someone else as Purple Hornets.

+10 on them not being purple hornets. Still nice zoa's, it sucks that someone would sell those as PH's hopefully they just didn't know. I want to see what they look like when they are all colored up though for sure.
