I just got this purple firefish today from a store that does full quarantine, after inspecting it, I think some of it's tail is missing. I have him in an acclimation box by himself anything I can do to help him heal? Video and picture added.

Can’t tell from the photo but if it is a nipped tail, it can quickly heal on its own with good water quality and diet.

The fish looks skinny and I would feed it a few times a day. It may have been getting bullied out of its meals.

This is likely aggression damage and you will want to identify the aggressor and isolate it or make a choice moving forward before the behavior worsens. Need a better pic of the tail (sideways view) under brighter lighting to determine if its one that will heal on its own or severe enough requiring treatment suck and antibiotic or simple remedy such as Ruby Rally Pro
