I have a proclear 230 aquarium. It has 2 standpipes in the overflow at the same height, so no emergency overflow. They both have ball valves on them in the sump. I want to add a reefmat 1200 to the tank, so I'm thinking I have a few options. Which do you think would be best?
1) add ~1 inch to one of the standpipes so that it becomes an emergency overflow. Then use the primary overflow drain to feed into the reefmat
2) combine both overflow outputs and feed that into one outlet.
3) Keep it as is connect overflow line A to the reefmat and close the overflow line in B to about 50% so that most of the water is going through the reefmat.
Open to any other ideas as well.
