Joe here from San Diego been reefing for 2.5 years started with a used set up 50 gal, about 1.5 years with a Red Sea reefer 350 G2 mixed reef tank. Dosing Red Sea new 4 part- Alk 9, Cal 430, Mag 1280, nitrate 9.6, phosphate 0.03. Reefing has been quit the battle was battling diatoms for a few months. I believe I have Dino’s in reef tank on sand bed. Took sample with microscope looking for help to ID what it is and possible solutions to get rid of it? Will add pics.

Image looks odd. Did the slide dry out while photographing? Not obvious what the organism is.
