Maybe I’m seeing something else but it looks like there are multiple spots. People use peroxide to kill micro and macro algae. I would vote no for a variety of reasons. The best way may be to trim the sections with microalgaemacro is covered in GHA. This is the ONLY place in the tank that has GHA: on the macro. Will a peroxide dip kill the macro? Any other remedies?
Yes, that won't work very well. As you can see, it's completely covered.Maybe I’m seeing something else but it looks like there are multiple spots. People use peroxide to kill micro and macro algae. I would vote no for a variety of reasons. The best way may be to trim the sections with microalgae
I would be afraid to dip macroalgae in peroxide. I have never dipped macros, I always prune off the problem area. In your case where the entire macro is affected I would remove the gha manually as thoroughly as possible and hope the new growth doesn't have gha on it. Then prune off the bad places.
