Possible hydroid or some kind of limpet forming?

Hello everyone. I cannot tell what this is. It appears soft in shape, no height or width to it. I do have a cool slipper limpet on my conch that sifts through the sand along with him. Could this be another one? Or is it a hydroid? Thank you in advance.

Doesn't look like either to me, honestly. I can't tell what it is from the pics, though. Possibly a tunicate colony just starting to grow?

Any chance you could get closer-up pics?

Unfortunately I could not zoom in closer. My camera was all blurry. Not to worry though, that creature was plucked out of the tank as of last night. Better safe than sorry. Thank you for the help.
