Beat me to itThey're Vermetid snails I believe. If they're alive, they can spread and make new ones. They're typically beneficial filter feeders until they reach uncontrollable numbers. If you get true Bumblebee snails they can help control them. Also, people have reported success with calcium carbonate (DIY Reef Snow)
Honestly, it's unlikely you'll be able to keep vermetids out of your tank... may just want to leave them be.Thanks everyone. Think I'll make an attempt to remove them. This is my first tank, trying to keep it as simple as I can
