About a year ago i bought some pods that i used to seed my tank and when i look into the jar you actually seen them crawling on the glass and some what looks like tiger pods? Looked like tiny little shrimp

well when i added them i keep using a feed to help the population grow and i had them crawling all over mg display and sump
Now i don’t see a single one…
What could have wiped the population?
i have phosphate issues but i don’t see that wiping them? And only have tangs in the tank any ideas!?

I don't have lots of experience, but the populations of visible pods in my tanks continuously ebb and flow. There are probably still pods alive in your system, but there may not be enough film algae or other food source on the glass to attract the pods out in visible quantities.

What they tend to do is overpopulate and crash out, especially if they outstrip the available food (which would happen if you stopped feeding them,) and then slowly rebuild from what is left. You've probably still got a small population hanging out in the rockwork.
