Is there any club member that is interested in a Pod kit? I took a 10 gallon tank and put a divider in it for two separate batches. This is for redundancy in case one batch crashes. There is a top with holes for the two rigid tubing to pass through. One air pump goes to a manifold that lets you get just the right trickle of bubbles on each side for optimum circulation. It doesn't need a heater if you can keep it at room temp or even in a basement that maintains a cooler temp.
I am donating this to the club. It can be used to raise pods, brine shrimp, or other live foods. This can be as simple as shaking out some pods from your chaeto to get started with a pod batch. Raise them for yourself and bring some to meetings for other club members. If you no longer want to use it to raise live food, then pass it on to another club member so they have a chance to try.
Take care,
