Hi everyone,

I started my first ever saltwater tank a couple of months back, cycled it and added a small purple dottyback which is doing great. About 3 weeks ago I added a small wild caught clownfish and 1 week ago a small darwin clownfish. All my fish seem very healthy and are eating very well but I noticed a single white dot behind the center stripe on my wild caught Nemo. Its been there for about a week and I see nothing on any of the other fish. Please help me identify what this is so that I can treat it.

Thanks for the help.

Most likely just a dislodged scale. It isn't ich because those spots will come and go and change location, growing in numbers over time. the fish look good otherwise.

Update: Its still there, have not seen any other spots come up on the nemo or any other fish. Fish still looks very healthy and is eating well. Will update if anything changes. Thanks for the replies.
