One year old, but only in use for about half that time. Comes with a probe that has been submerged in water the whole time.

I test all my water at school now becouse we just got in a tds meter and ph phrob. and have all the test kits i could ever need.

He is trying to sell the probe, not start a conversation about how or where you use a ph probe.

It's a controller too...which means that testing is really only half the function of this particular item, probably not even that. Its main purpose is so you can monitor and control the pH of your effluent coming from your calcium reactor. I doubt if you'd want to be running it to school 19 times a day to get your reactor dialed in :)
