I was photographing at Midwest Saltwater again last night and this chalice was in the display tank. This is a little more than an inch of surface, sloping away from the camera. I stacked 10 images to get this final photo. Used Helicon Focus to combine the images.

I'll write one up as soon as I'm more confident with the technique. Too much hit-and-miss so far, though the hits are rapidly starting to outweigh the misses. It is rather self-explanatory, once you have the software.

Gary..great work...you always find the hidden and sometimes not so hidden beauty in any coral. FYI the Rabbit....Roger is doing great in my sons tank. I'd like to see a picture of the acan frag you got from me. I bet it's even nicer...close up...
