I have to ask, you guys running a high alk?

My apogee says 350 par and my alk is 8 Dkh.
Got to be the alk.
nope running between 7.5-8.5dkh I probably have higher par tho I've never checked that frag specifically, but I'll get 350 and over close to that, ranging all day 12hrs.

My target for Alk is 8-9; PAR is probably similar to yours. I recently had an alk swing though so I hope it doesn't affect my acros.

I was on an airplane headed on vacation and checked my controller and my alk had dropped almost 1 point in 12 hours. :astonished-face: Texted my neighbor that's in the hobby also to see if he could test my alk and check on my doser. He confirmed the controller results were accurate and doser was not working right. Alk had dropped to about 6dkh at the lowest. My neighbor was able to manually dose 1x per day for me while I was gone. Switched the alk to a different dosing head last night and it seems to be working. Hope the swings weren't too much... time will tell.

July photo submission:

@BranchingHammer @lynn.reef.nerd @Reefing102

My central AC went out for 5 days the last week of June here in Austin, the tank endured inside the house temps up to 93°F!!!

Added a few more fans for evaporative cooling along with frozen jugs and kept it at 82°F - 84°F until the new central AC was installed. Tank normally kept at 78°F - 79°F during the summer months.
