phytoplankton/christmas worm rock questions

I got a christmas worm rock yesterday and am wondering what is the best phyto to use there seems to be different sizes/types I am considering using brightwell phytogreen M anyone else have worm rock what has been your experience with them I acclimated for several hours & have it low in the tank now I have read some places say low in tank & sheltered others say as much light & flow as possible I plan on low in the tank for a week or so & slowly moving it up thoughts???

it s is a porite a type of SPS. seems to be the only kind i can keep succesfully. i have had one rock for al ittle over a year and have a second one that we picked up that is growing back new tissue. i have ours on the sand bed directly under 110watts of LED's from the apollo reed dimmable unit and it seems to be loving it! seeing a lot of new tissue growth and new worms. its in moderate current not blasted... i dont feed a lot of phyto or anything but i do from time to time, maybe once or twice a month....

thanks what kind of phyto do you use? does live phyto have any advantages over the brightwells?

oh sorry forgot do you turn off all powerheads & skimmer do you spot feed? thanks
