So recently I burned my T5 reactor by spilling saltwater over it.

I decided to keep going without T5s and keep monitoring the animals.

Just to keep here, I would like to add my son’s pico build. He is 1 year 8 months old and I believe the only jellyfish keeper in the world at this age ;Dummy.

We added a hidden temp controller to his tank:

We know the tank is pretty small for a clown when it grows, but my son will grow together and the plans are making a nano for him while he grows.

And a small update on the display, I’ve been keeping a weekly journal on youtube:

Amazing!!! How do you keep your zoas in check? I’m nervous about fragging them and/or pulling them from rock, but I’ve got some nice SPS and other corals that are going to get “invaded” soon if I don’t do something…

Also, are you running that skimmer super dry skimmate/low air???

I run my skimmer moderate to dry, actually I use many export methods together: skimmer, chaeto, gfo, zeolites, carbon….

I don’t really fear too much trimming zoas and palys, I actually do it pretty often (about once a month) to keep them mixed and not allowing one specied to overcome the others. I show my weekly care on my YT chanel (but in portuguese).

Love your thank also! Pretty good job!

What do you think of the nyos 160 compared to the nyos 120 for tank size. I’m looking into a 100 gallon tank so you think the 160 is over kill for the size

I don’t think it is overkill specially to keep a cleaner tank for corals such as SPS
