Part of the Gang: Angels or Tangs?

Yeah, I know...This is a hard one. Tangs and Angelfish are two of the hobby's most beloved fish. Both come in all different varieties or colors and patterns, and each also come with unique challenges. But if you had to choose...

Do you prefer Angelfish or Tangs? And why?

I like Ahi and usually do not eat Angels or Tangs.

Tangs are my most valuable CUC members and they're better at begging for food than my dogs. The only tank I have a problem with algae is the tank too small for tangs

Angelfish. There are ones that work well even in smaller tanks and I’ve never had an issue with an angelfish with either disease or aggression.
Also they are prettier

I love all tangs, except those powder blues & browns -- total ich magnet for me! My fav is the powder blue and after 3 attempts, I gave up. Similarly, I treated the powder brown three (3) times so after that, I donated to another family member. Well, this same powder brown came back home for treatment 3 months later. So -- no powder blue/brown tangs for me!

This is a tough one. But if I had to choose, it would have to be Tangs. Mainly for their utilitarian benefit.

rabbit fish are related. will eat palythoas. plus Foxface can venomnize you if not careful. just be aware.

I keep seeing tangs have jobs. Angels can do that job too.
