Pajama cardinals eye is huge

Like the title says, my other pajamas are fine but one has an eye that is twice as big, as far as i know this is fairly recent.

Pictures in this instance are always helpful but can be injury/scrape, gas embolism or infection. Again - Need pics and under white light intensity.

keep an eye on it and see if it subsides on its own - does not appear to be infected.
Would not be bad to get a pack of Maracyn in case no improvement after 72 hours which will have to be treated in a separate tank

So the eye enlargement went down and was basically invisible for about 2-3 weeks and looked just like the other eye. Now it is back and it looks bigger, any ideas?

Possible infection or based on age may be bumping into objects due to diminished vision. Pajama typical lifespan is 4-5 years and as you know they are active at night and in a trance during the day.
This eye looks like gas embolism especially a risk if tank has microbubbles.

Ok, is there anything i can do for him, i have three and theyre my favorite fish, he is pretty old considering they live for 4-5 years.

Rather than putting through treatment again, you can add Ruby Rally pro to tank. Any microbubbles in the tank?

Very fine bubbles within the tank arriving through water column or skimmer in many cases
