I want to run some ozone for the water clarity benefits. My apex ORP probe reads between 450 and 475 already with no ozone. Once I add ozone what ORP level should I set the unit to shut off at?

I’m not sure if it is accurate, but if it is accurate, it is pretty high and I’d limit it to 490 mV and see if you get the clarity you want.
They could always try a ORP reference solution to check how close it is.
Soak the probe in vinegar and then retest your water. I had this issue in the past ORP probe rises 50pts or so a week and just needs a five min soak. Once you have the baseline, which is closer to 250-300 shoot for 340-350 with ozone. Or 50pts higher than your reading.I want to run some ozone for the water clarity benefits. @Randy Holmes-Farley been a long time. Glad to see you’re still around. The hobby appreciates it.

My sump is pretty clean and no noticeable growth on probes. Tank is only 4 months old. Still worth soaking the ORP probe in vinegar?
Just the tip. Don’t need to soak the whole probe. I’m sure you know this but will mention. Your setup looks fantastic btw!My sump is pretty clean and no noticeable growth on probes. Tank is only 4 months old. Still worth soaking the ORP probe in vinegar?
How did it work out? @areefer01
