OT (sort of): Anyone looking to get rid of an Xbox 360?

Not sure if this is against the UA or not, but I'm looking for an Xbox 360 setup. No red rings or anything issues in the past, preferably and Elite or something with a decent hard drive. Not really interested in games unless it's COD Modern Warfare 2.

All types of coral and reef related items I can trade if you're interested.

not sure of the exact time but 360 did release a system with a better chip and the red ring sould be a thing of the past. i bought a basic 360 a year ago and haven't had any issues yet. another person to play cod with is always a plus.

Thanks Jon. I'll keep that in mind. Right now I'm hoping to trade for something. Although, if I decide to sell/ship some coral I'll probably take you up on your offer. I just don't have a lot of time to deal with shipping right now since I'm living/working in Ohio during the week.

Yeah they did. My buddy was going to give me his old Elite (Red Ringed) for free so I could fix it, but after talking to someone who fixes them and getting some more information regarding the particular error code, and the result my buddy's modified fix most likely had on the unit, decided that it wasn't worth it.

I still occaisionally play on his name when I'm home on the weekends though.

my old xbox had the red ring, i watched a few videos on youtube and opened my xbox cleaned some the solder that had melted. that got me a few months but i had to get a new one.

I have 2 360's, one is the Call of Duty special edition, opened the game but never the system.

My other is an original. Had the red ring 2 years ago, I followed the fix online and it has worked ever since.

I have been playing nothing but hardcore TDM. Once you play HC it's hard to play the regular with the radar up all the time and needing to empty two clips into someone to kill them. The only bad thing with HC is a lot of people just camp.

hc is good but i feel the nube tube should not be allowed for hc. people camp any game . and there is a hc for search and destroy.

I agree 100% on the noob tube. My problem with the other game formats is that I'm too impatient. I just want to go shoot somebody. I'm going to go on now for a little. You going to be on?
