Velcro May detach from heat and humidity at tank..... best would be straight or angled brackets that are STAINLESS STEEL

I may have said velcro at first, because I have had a 24" diy led ( aluminum heat sink) attached to my ati 6 x 24 watt fixture for several years with industrial velcro, but having just mounted my Reef Brite 60" XHO blue to my 8 x 80 watt ATI fixture, there is no way I'd trust a light that expensive to anything other than screws and brackets.

For for my lightweight led bar, it's been fine for years.

If you have 2 light bars it will balance out the fixture and not lean. This is how I mounted mine with no drilling or modifications to either fixture. Simple piece of aluminum flat stock available at lowes or home depot.

Hello All...I just found out that Orphek will be coming out with a 60" light bar...unfortunately they haven't given me a time line as to when that will be...I'll give you all a heads up when that occurs

I emailed them over a month ago and they said it would be released this month.
I messaged them on Facebook yesterday and they said it was still developing.

I'm seriously thinking about ordering the 48" and mounting like the picture above.

How do you like it?
I like it a lot. I have it on the same outlet as my t5 2 bulb channel.
It's hard to explain but it makes the tank not as bright and separates the colors so the corals dont look blended together. If that makes any sense.
It's hard to get photos and videos of without the UV making it look crazy but I tried.

Is this tank still up? I’d love to see the color of it.
