Color differences of my two Gigas. The more gold Gigas is recovering from a Gigantea attack. They were fine touching for a few week, then he go Zapped overnight, I have to rearrange his living quarter.
The Gold Gigas was @alton Gigas. Alton gave him to me recently.

I have a numbers of various Sea Urchin in my reef for algae control. Most beautiful of which are the long spine Black and White Urchin. Over several years they grew from 1/2 inches (body only, not counting the spines) to 2 inches. The longest of the spines is about 6 inches. Picture of the smallest 1+ inch and the largest 2+ inches. The wet end of the MP60 is right next to the largest Sea Urchin.
I wonder if they eventually spawn in my tank.

I got several of these guys too, and Pencil Sea Urchin. They are much cheaper than the long spines. I got them all from Petco here in Corpus Christ. The long spines are tank raise while the others are wild caught.

I just got this nice Squamosa, slightly larger than 3 inches at Petco for 39.99. Right next to it (not on my tank but at the Petco) is another Squamosa that have been at the PETCO for several weeks, and have not died yet, only 2 inches but for 99.99. Weir. I don’t try to make sense of Petco price structure anymore.

Your tank is just amazing, I love seeing it every time!!! How do you feel about mangroves? Are they more for decoration for you, or do you think they have benefits too? Do you do anything special for them?

My Radiant Wrasse turn male very quickly. In two months ago she was a juvenile, now he is a male, not quite fully colored yet but is getting there. Much fatter and healthier too.

What do they eat? Pellets, frozen food?
I feed a variety of things to my tank. Main food is pellets. Flakes and frozen mysis in AM. Nori clips lasted all day. Treats include various seafood, fish eggs, oysters and clams, live algae rocks, Aptasia, feather dusters rocks.
Simply amazing. Can only dream of a tank like this. How many fish do you have in total? Also I see with your corals it’s mainly just soft corals if I’m not mistaken.
Mainly anemones and clams. I have this pest Kenya tree that I am in battle with. I have a hand full of SPS and a few LPS. I try to keep the nutrients in my tank down but it is not easy due to the numbers of fish I have and how well I feed them.
It is truly a mixed reef
