My orange spotted goby died. I have a 50 gallon reef tank. The parameters all seem good to me. I saw him swimming out of it’s hole this afternoon, I noted this as odd, that he shared with a pistol tiger shrimp. Any ideas?

I thought I saw it eating when I feed the tank. Hiding is kind of what it did, my son did say he thought he saw less of it the other day, but I felt like I saw it poking out of a hole most times I looked at the tank. I have not noticed any heavy breathing. I did have a royal gramma die, of what was suspected to be uronema. The stomach has a dark spot suggesting possible edema in which the fish May have been feeding off its liver.
Hard to tell with a dead carcass but any symptoms that developed like loss of appetite, elevated breathing, unusual swim behavior or hiding?
I guess it could be the clowns, but they never have shown aggression to anything. The only other fish in the tank is a mandarin.Instant death always leads me to an attack, rather than disease.
You see a fish in the afternoon and a couple of hours later, dead…..
