Recently purchased Waste Away (Saltwater) version instead of their Reef version. Will it make a difference?
I purchased product after noticing a nitrate and phosphate creep. Averaging .75 - 1 phosphates and approx. 20 nitrates. Keeping it under control with weekly 10 g water changes, but for a 32.5 g tank, with skimmer, it seems a bit much.
Aside from some algae patches, detritus, etc., all LPS, birdsnest, RFAs, and softies seem fine.
I was only planning 1/2 dosing for the first 3-4 days…
Any advice as to whether it is safe to use the saltwater version instead of the reef version is appreciated.
