I am an ICU nurse. It has been a difficult couple of weeks. Ask for prayers firstly for my friend and coworker whose family member was killed in a mass shooting. It has been devastating for them
next I selfishly ask that God keep me safe. On the frontlines. Yes we are instructed to reuse masks and shields. Exposed? The CDC says we work anyway. Just reuse that mask!

May God watch over you, your colleagues, friends and family. And those that need you to heal. You are Earth's angels to them!

May God give peace and strength for your co-worker and family in their time of need.

I work for a company that repairs surgical instruments. I feel your anxiety. Know that God hears our prayers!

If there are any brothers and sisters on this forum, I ask for your most sincere prayers as I begin this journey. Here is my own:

Lord, as you already know, this has been a childhood dream of mine. I pray that you will guide me to the right people, the right resources, the right time and place to start this, but you know how eager I am to begin soon.

O Lord, for these creatures of the sea that will be entrusted to my care, for the fish, the corals, and everything else, I pray to you to give me the heart, wisdom, soul, and strength to take care of them to the best of my ability so they may lead lives long and happy.

For all the troubles and obstacles I will face on my way, please show me how to overcome them. Please guide me to the right creatures, to the right decisions that will give me the best experience possible as I begin my reefing journey.

With all that has been said, May your Grace and your blessing be with me. Amen, may everything be well.

I am continuing to pray for health, wisdom, and peace for everyone during this time. If you are comfortable sharing, we would be glad to pray for specific individuals and situations. Please be safe, be smart, and take care of yourself physically and emotionally.

As some of you may know, I am a doctor and is seeing patients through this crisis. We are short supply. I used the same mask since all of this begin. I soak my mask in 70% alcohol weekly so I can reuse it.
Anyway, knowing that our clinic are short of masks, some of our patients are making mask for us. It really warm my heart.
These masks are not N-95 but in this case it is the thoughts that really count.
The picture is blurred because I have my phone in a zip-lock bag so I won't bring home any infection. A lot easier to wipe with alcohol then without the bag, and I discarded the bag as I go into our house, straight to the shower. My wife have a plastic back, all my clothing go straight to the washing machine.

Be safe everybody. Any exposure to COVID 19 will get you sick. However, a lung full of inhale virus will kill, young with no medical problem or not.

If you are near somebody cough, just hold your breath until you can get far enough away, 10 feet or so if possible.

In my prayers. I too feel that stress I am a Covid ICU nurse. Just hoping my neighbors don’t see me strip in the garage
