I don't normally ask for prayers... but it's been a weird 3 weeks. My position was eliminated end of March, have not been able to find much in the way of work (I was an assistant director), and today my wife is in for abdominal surgery. We have a 4 year old that is being a trooper through all this. Just hope everything ends up being OK.

I am asking for prayers toward my grandfather and dog. My grandfather has been sick almost his entire life, but now things are starting to get bad. Yesterday night he went to the hospital. He is very tough and when he thought he needed to go to the hospital, we knew something was very wrong. My dog, Lily is also just getting sick, too. We unfortuantly had to put my 9 y/o red golden retriever down on Monday, due to heart failure. It's been roughly a week, and I am still heartbroken. Now, Dixons mom who we rescued is now showing signs of severe liver failure. She is on a steroid right now, which is helping so much, but we know she does not have much time left on this beautiful Earth.

Things have been kind of hectic for awhile. Mother in law moved out to take care of her cousin who was diagnosed with several types of cancers. She has lived with my husband and I for 20 some odd years so it’s really strange her not being here. She also has signs of dementia. She is two towns away from us and my husband and I worry about her and her cousin. Both being so far away and unwell.

My daughter has just discovered she is pregnant with baby number two. However she also found out she has a cyst on her ovary and she’s in extreme pain. Doctors think she’s about two months along, but couldn’t find baby through ultrasound and through feeling. So she is very worried that baby is ectopic. A future appt in the 2nd will hopefully tell us more.

My husbands back is going out again, and it’s making his job very difficult. He tries to persevere and goes in as often as he can as long as he can walk.

Unneeded stress about and people taking advantage of the entire situation that we are in, is making all of this extremely exhausting.

so sorry you are going through all of this LadyMac. sincerely hope your daughter is ok - so scary & soul-crushing to deal with an ectopic pregnancy. I truly hope it isn't that & the cyst heals on its own.

I’m asking for prayers because of my current financial situation from the beginning of the year and all the health issues! I was lied to and taken advantage of by a doctor who is now balance billing me hundreds I can’t afford and not willing to write it off and I’ve been fighting with insurance and the office for months short of going to court. I spent half the day crying because the balance ended up still being owed after months of fighting and getting multiple parties involved. I managed to raise funds to pay half of it I still am afraid it’s going to go to collections in two weeks if I can’t get the other half which isn’t even an enough to end up being on my credit report…but since my hours were cut at work and due to other medical bills I can’t afford it in full. And they won’t let me go on a payment plan! In these situations you are always the little guy and it sucks because 9/10 times the insurance companies or doctors win!

In the big picture I know we are all fighting our own battles and I am praying for everyone else having a hard time too but omg it sucks to only keep getting knocked down and be the little guy in a situation that is in no way your fault or in your control.
