You really think it would make that much of a difference over ARM course?
Just ordered some. Should arrive on Sunday. Once I swap it out, it will also give me a chance to look at the pump to make sure I didnt screw anything up when replacing it.
I tried reaching out to George (Geo) a couple of times but got no reply. Pretty annoying.

I don't know for sure, but it's worth a shot.

Also another thing just came to mind, have you recently caibrated your pH probe in the reactor? If not I would make sure it's accurate to ensure the pH is the reactor is actually low enough.

I believe you need to slow the drip rate and increase the bubbles I'm having a lil difficulty with my 612 it very noisy. I'm using reborn and getting effluent 20+dkh. I would l ok e to know how some you got the noise from the pump chopping the co2

My drip rate is around 20 ml per minute right now. That's really slow. I just got some Reborn and will try to put it in this weekend.
As for the noise, I have a rubber mat under the reactor and wrapped the same type of mat around the pump. I can hear the co2 coming in occasionally and a slight hum of the pumps (which I consider less than silent for sure).

Pulled the reactor out again and put re-born in there. Made sure clamps were secured and now I'm getting 20 dKH out of it. Seems to be sufficient at this point. In fact, I measured it and had to raise the pH b/c the Alk is finally creeping up instead of down! WHEW!
