Hi all I am looking into putting 2 Octopulse 2's on my IM50 lagoon(Length 29.14” Width: 18.75” Height: 16.14”). I would like to have this tank be sps dominate but I currently have a few LPS (torch and goni) in the front of the tank. Can anyone give suggestions on the difference in flow between the octo pulse 2 and the octo pulse 4. I am thinking a pair of 4's on the back of the side glass may create too much flow in the tank. Will the octo pulse 2's be enough for a full sps scape in the back of the tank? My main reason currently for going Octo Pulse is to set them up on my Hydros controller. Any advice will be appreciated, Thanks.

Go with either or both. Since you have a controller, you can easily modulate the flow pattern in the Hydros app (including running them in reverse). Just pick where you put them so as not to blast anything directly. But from an economic point of view, the 2's are more than enough.
