Nyos 220 VS Octo Elite 220-INT

Hello guys what's up ?

I have a Dillema hehe, My tank run with a nyos 220 but my ph is low 8.13 in en dof the day and 7.8 in the night he have ATI carbo ex ...

will the Octo have a better impact on the latter (ph)? or not ...
also the octo use 70Watt in full power compared to 20Watt for the Nyos ... Why ?

I have a nyos 160..it can be finicky. When the power goes off it can be a pain to get it to restart right.

Can you lower the co2 in the room or anything? And what do you use to supplement alk?
i use a dastaco T3 for 700 liters, i dont put much co2 my room is well ventilated the tank is close to window,
i have a bottle with a air difuser at the at the dastaco exit

Could you supplement t with kalk or soda ash? That would raise the ph. I'm sure other people could guide you better on that than I can.
