Awesome! That's what I was hoping for. Since your tank is about the same depth as mine, is your lighting program anywhere near what I use?Grown under 2x Red Sea 90s before switching to radions. Redsea xl 300

I just wrapped up a water test:
Alk 11.3
Phos 0.13
Nitrate 5
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Calcium 600....31 drops on the API test kit
Magnesium 1390
PH 8.17
Salinity 34.2

I've melted a birdsnest in a similar environment. I'd stop dosing for a while. With no hard corals your demand shouldn't be thar much. Good luck.

I guess as far as the corraline is concerned, I always thought it went from white crystals to green then sort of purple and plating on the back glass.

I don't use them myself but have worked with several people who use those lights. Unfortunately I don't have a way to contact them. I do think renting a par meter would be the best bet, but I'm not certain the lighting is an issue.

your problem isn’t lighting.
too little light results in browning. Too much light results in uniform bleaching. Not the slower, creeping from the edge kind of bleaching known as “tissue necrosis”
You said you replace your RO filters once a year. Do you know the tds of the fresh water? Its nice to have source tds, out of membrane tds and then post di tds. If its not 0 tds you might have some extra issues.

Haven't checked for stray current. Have done an ICP in the past, and nothing was off except Ca being 600 or so. RODI water is straight 0 across the board. Out of the tap the phosphates and phosphorus from the fire retardant in our water is like way beyond what the Feds say is safe.
I have the 2 red sea WAV's running at about 50% because any more than that blasts the sand to the back of the tank. The pumps are at the top back wall of the tank.
My bad--didn;t want to itemize all the coral I've killed off....
Only other thing i can think of is i think alch and cal are just so elevated it makes it hard. Veteran sps keepers / venders do those levels for growth but i think it makes it hard for us mere mortals to have success. I think keeping it at 8-9.5 you might have more luck.
I ran them both w blue and whites at 100%. 2 hour ramp on each side, so 8 hours full intensity 12 photoperiod
When I started I ran them at 60% both blue and white. Like a whiter tank so that was like 15k setting and just kept bumping it up with e additions of sps over a few months til I was at max Par.
I’m using 2 x Xr15 G5 pros now w ab+ spectrum @ 75% schedule intensity. Found an old template playing w blue and white steps w shorter ramps but eventually they were both at 100
Anytime I cant grow something I get an ICP test to be sure
People have said this already but I strongly agree ... Get your alk to sea levels - 7/8dkh and start from there.
Once it's balanced and thriving you can play with higher alk and pH to speed up growth but for me, I still like 8 dkH.

Do a large wc with a lower alk salt. Start again so to speak from a nutrient water stand point.
Thier is indeed a direct link with high alk and low nutrients and low alk and high nutrients ect so these ppl r on to something and not just giving advice.
