A buddy of mine just split from his S/O and will be staying with me for a bit, he and his S/O have a salt water aquarium together and he’s slowly moving fish that were ‘his’ out of their tank and into a new one. He’s been stuck at work and moving things into storage and while I’ve been home I’ve been checking up on his wish.

Last night he set up a 30g tank and added some live rock from his and his S/O’s tank, threw in quick start and prime before adding two clowns and a purple LTA.

by this morning one clown was done, was swimming fine and within a couple minutes we saw it just drop and that was it. An immediate water change was done with Ive helped him with. The LTA balled up and stayed like that for quite some time now it looks off. (Photo provided) my buddy’s not here and I sent him texts, no response I tested his water and will list them below, is there anything I should be worried about or anything I can do to help this tank?

That’s a tough situation. I would put some kind of anemone guard on internal powerheads and hope that the anemone finds a happy place.

Good luck.
