I have been in the reef keeping hobby for about 10, 11 months now. So total noob reefer here. As such, I have been doing lots of research on different equipment. For now, I have no plans to get any large tanks, but I do however have an unused 10 gallon that I might use for one thing or another, which will probably be the subject of a build thread shortly. But obviously, all I said was I have a TANK. Still need other pieces of equipment for it, including lighting equipment.

Which brings me to what I like about your K7 Pro II....it's size. It is not a big and bulky behemoth of a light fixture, so it can be used for a small nano tank setup like my ten gallon, but can also be used for larger tanks by getting an additional light or two. So yeah, even if I don't win this, I will definitely be adding it to my wish list for my 10 gallon setup, and possibly any other future setup I my have. Because to heck with trying to hang a gigantic light apparstus from my 20ft ceiling in my living room. I don't have a ladder tall enough for that!! So yeah, I definitely am a fan of its convenient and compact design.

Official entry: I like that they have all the diodes under one big lens. should result in really even light blending. also it looks like the face plate is detachable? that would be awesome for periodic cleaning. Great full power/spectrum light at a reasonable price. I would love to try one over a frag tank!
