Would you recommend one or two over a 36” long tank?
Just getting into reefing and am looking at hammers / frogspawns / zoas etc
I have 2 over my 40breeder and its perfect. I dont think 1 would look very good. I originally had 1 Radion XR30 over it and the pucks are spread further and it was still very dim on the sides.

Hello,

This would be fun for me so (and first like on a forum so if I miss something lol ahhh just yeah let me know :) )

A) my lights start to ramp at 0800 hours

B). I am using three current orbit marine pros 4117 model version (this there 60 degree lens version) I also run four current eflux 2100 wave makers icecap 3k and twin current dc 3200 return pumps.

C see the pics below I guess lol these lights sit directly on top of the tank. My tank is now 16 months old there is a start pic and a pic from last week :). Now it’s not exactly easy for my (not so smart phone to get my entire tank in one pic but if this loads correctly it’s going from left to right. Definitely excited to see how your knee lights do. Pics with lights on normal 33% white, 85 blue, and my iPhone 8 it’s pretty old one

D my tank is 72 long 24 wide and 34 tall

E not sure what this means (like my local aquarium or here)

How many of these light for a standard 4ft 75g tank. Sps acropora reef twnk currently running two 250w MH.
Also, if you have a standard rimmed aquarium the mounting arms don't fit perfectly. There is a gap. A diy mounting solution would be cheaper than 4 mounts. The controller is worth it just has a learning curve. Overall they are great lights for a great price.

Nice to see that you do respond to some posts when you want to. How about sharing your testing methods and data for your test on the hybrid light fixture that you claimed white scrubbed surface reflected more light than polished aluminum individual reflectors? And how’s the update to the controller program coming along? Any word on when an App is coming?

Iam so sorry, I probably have a wrong memory about the tested before. We're re-adjust the surface reflected. We will not have APP recently, because it's all of our lights operating platform, not just can control K7.

The new light hybrid will be a hard sell with your current controller.,not many people are going to recommend a headache. Lights are great though if you can figure it out.

@noopsyche would you be willing to release your Bluetooth API (services and characteristics) for hobbyist development? It would be an easier jump off point than me using a BLE sniffer and Wireshark to reverse engineer your connection between the slave and master. Someone will do it why not be apart of it?

In for the heck of it, always love new lights. I've had just able all the main light fixtures on the market. Looking forward in seeing results.
