Just wondering are there any quality lights that have manual controls with things like being dimmable. I have an G6 Radeon which I like when I can control it, but right now I can't get my Reeflink to talk to my router. I have a Hydros controller that is great once I'm in the app, but every time it needs a hardware update I either have to try to download the update through my country-speed internet or jump through hoops to get to an older version of the app. I'm probably going to get Noopsyche lights, but #1 complaint in the reviews? The app is hard to use. Don't get me wrong, I probably will keep plugging along using apps, but some days I want to go back to using timer switches . ;-) :-D
Popbloom Turing use an old fashioned hardwired box controller.

Also as mentioned many lights now have their own network though that involves switching to it on your phone. That means direct phone to light wireless.
As mentioned some can connect via Bluetooth. Also phone to light.

Hmmm most just use the local wi-fi not " the internet" except for cloud based ones...well afaict. Maybe get the time and updates.

So avoid lights you can control from " anywhere"..

I had Starlink before and struggled with it. After troubleshooting for a couple of months I gave the equipment to my brother. He finally got a hold of customer service and they replaced the main cable, so his internet is now faster than what I have here. I might get it again if I have to.
