I also did this with clear silicone since it was my first attempt and tester so to speak. The seals on the other will be done with black which is unforgiving when using so tried my shot with clear.
More reason to leave good enough alone. You'll very likely never see that once there's water in it and the top on right?

Yeah I get that, and as a woodworker who borders on a perfectionist, I've had to train myself over many years to only let my perfectionist ake over, on things "that actually matter".

The last three words are the issue. Figuring out exactly what matters, and what doesn't is a very personal thing.

I can say with relative certainty that 95% of people WITH fish tanks would not notice your wavey line. Take a look at most tanks.. They aren't perfect. I can find a flaw in the silicone on pretty much every single one if you look hard enough.

If YOU will see it every time, and it'll Annoy You, then do you. Reseal it. In my opinion, your important lesson has already been learned on what you will do different/better, next time.

In My shop, I would continue forward and use that newfound expertise on the next glue up.

Practicing what I preach here, My first glue up was a frag tank with black silicone.. It is far from perfect. In the roughly year it's been up in operation, In my office where I look at it no less than 50 times a day and spend hours on conference calls staring at it, I have never Once, seen an imperfection on it and wished I had redone it.. When I see those imperfections I go. Yeah that's why the 60g cube was a lot better.. I learned me some sheet!

Well @NowGlazeIT and @Lost in the Sauce i had to remove it i couldnt stand looking at it lol. Everything has been removed and is taped up ready to go round 2 will commence after dinner and a little clean up thats left with some acetone. This time will go way better and the lines should look great.

As long as you're happy bro!

What are you using for the inside half round?

The pen side of a sharpie cap I found works great

Got a plastic insert for this fits perfect and cut an angle on it to make it that 45 that is needed

Any reason you cut it rather than leaves it round?
The depth of the round was perrty close into the seam wanted more of a thicker corner is all i could cut the round myself though
