Whats the difference? They all look so similar. I picked up a small rose bta from lfs and it looks similar to the nexus. Its red with nice tips and a green mouth.

Also saw a “Colorado sunburst” for $1000 online wow, and looks just like a yellow bta.

While I do agree $1000 is steep you’ll notice that there’s almost no colors for them other than red/pink or green
So yellow is highly sought after when it’s a true yellow, which is they get the price they do.

IMO tho pretty much every other one are all basically the same thing pink/red with various amounts of green

Just wanted to add that personally, I’m not really a fan of BTAs at all. They look and act like oversize Majanos to me and seem like just a pest with how quick they reproduce and take over. So take my opinion with a grain of salt :grinning-face-with-sweat:
I really love Carpets and Ritteris myself:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Typically red, rose and rainbow are used interchangeably. Nexus is very clearly different, a perfect nexus will be half green and half red. Here is mine.

The rbta's ive seen show no green and much more red/orange under white light than the rainbow. Rainbow and rose under similar light.

Also, Nexus have marbled feet and tend to stay small.

The nexus picture posted here does seem pretty dope.

My rbta does have lots of green in his mouth and bottom off of tentacles though. Maybe I got lucky with a good colored one.

That's your typical rainbow. Green mouths, red tentacles, sometimes they'll be speckled. Red will be well, that, all red or pink. That nexus pictured has split and I now have 3. I've been lucky and they've had the color split. You can end up with a bad split and basically end up with 1 rainbow bta and 1 blueish nem often called Jokers. This is actually my colorado next to a Nexus. Colorado has marbled mouth, and distinct yellow tips. Then you can kinda see the color split on the Nexus to the left.

Yes, $35 is pretty good for a LFS, i think my lfs is $100. People around me give em away though.

My pictures aren't the best but here's my Joker. Oral disc is purple, this guy when fully inflated is about 2.5", and his foot is marbled. Stripes and speckles on the tentacles, pink/purple tips on the tentacles.

I see a lot of nexus that looks more liek rainbows on web... This one specifically looks like a rainbow but it lists nexus?

Neither of those are Nexus, again, Nexus has a clear split in color. People can call stuff whatever they want, but those aren't Nexus. Just some overly saturated Rainbow pics.
