Question: Do I need to tear down my current QT and sterilize with vinegar/bleach etc. for another batch of planned QT?

Thought is to prevent the prazi degradation with bacteria on every prazi dosage. But can it be avoided with swapping the current filter media in qT (seachem matrix in my case) to a new seeded one from DT?

Yes - the only reason to tear down QT is to destroy any prazi eating bacteria. If you’ve only dosed prazi twice, you don’t need to worry about that, it is seen after 5 doses or more.

@Jay Hemdal so I am now at 7 th day of 2nd prazi dose, and I noticed my firefish is scratching on bottom today occasionally. And my flasher wrasse is hiding not eating nor coming out since this morning, while he was totally active the past 30 days in copper safe and the 1st +6 days prazi treatment. Would you suggest to have 3rd prazi dose? If so should I dose at 8th day or should I start it now? (tonight @ 8pm will be my complete 7th day, 2nd round of prazi).

My QT has lubbock wrasse, tomini tang, 2 filefish, carpenter flasher wrasse. I have completed 2.25 ~ 2.5ppm coppersafe for 30 days for this batch of fish and I don't observe any ich symptom after coppersafe treatment on other fish, especially I suspect tomini tang should show white spot if the ich is still present. So I tend to rule out the ich for now.

I would hold off on a third prazi treatment - or at least do a water change prior to it. people often say they see problems with small wrasses and prazi. I haven’t seen it myself, but I don’t want to discount it out of hand.

Does the tank have good aeration?
What form of prazi are you using?

I didn't put airstone to it but the HOB filter creates lots of surface agitation and during the 1 st proazipro I didn't see any stress or appetite depression.
I am using prazipro, dosing 6.1 ish ml for 25 gallon.

My question is the twitching/scratching on firefish tho... although I only notice them doing this starting today but I am scratching my head now since this happened at the end of 2nd prazi treatment.

I just scraped off some bio film that is on the glass and do a 15 gallon water change, will observe more before making decision.

My wrasse is not getting better, firefish is still scratching and other fish are not going out to eat. I think I will dose 3rd round of prazipro with airstone today.

An update. Dosed 3 rd prazipro @ 6.1 ~ 6.2 ml / 25 gallon, did 15 gallon water change with scraping off film on glass prior to wc. Carpenter flasher wrasse wasn't doing well after the WC and was very lethargically breathing the whole night. Fin looked clamped and this morning she passed. All other fish are doing well, firefish still occasionally scratching the gill area. I will do a water change after 48 hours and observe more, hope the scratching is from healing of fluke, not the fluke itself.
