I added a Coral Beauty Angel to my 55 a month ago. This has always been one of my favorite fish! I'm down one clown that decided to go carpet surfing last Saturday. I cried like a baby! I purchased the 4 Clowns together and they were the first occupant's of the aquarium. So I am very attached to them. All fish are doing well, all are eating and thriving. Also in the tank are 2 Turbo and 2 astraea snails and an Emerald Green crab that only comes out at night. This week a brown algae bloom happened again, but the snails are taking care of it as are the fish! The tank turned 13 weeks this past Saturday. I'm taking it slow, and not stressing out. I do water test every Sunday and top off the tank when needed. I'm looking forward to the day to start adding corals!

Looks good, good luck with your new fish!

At 13 weeks, you're likely ready to try some corals if you're up for it. If you're starting to see coralline algae growing, that's a good sign your tank is ready for corals.

Good luck!

Thank you! I've been looking out for Coralline Algae. It looks as though some is starting in areas on the dry Rock.

Nothing like a Beauty, I think the Clown jumped because one of the other Clowns was picking on him.
