Hello all,
I'm brand new to the forum, happy to see people still doing forums so I don't have to do this on Facebook! I'm looking at getting a reef setup after years and years without any fish. Had freshwater fish when I was a kid and setup a little 5 gallon Fluval Spec as a saltwater nano about 12 years ago but didn't have it for very long. Now I'm established in a house, on Vancouver Island, and I can't stop thinking about getting back into this hobby.
I made a post in the newbie section (I think? Hopefully?) looking for some advice, don't think it's up just yet but when it is, I'd love some feedback from the professionals around here. I have a bit more to spend than when I was bootstrapping tanks as a kid but I'd still love to keep it simple and cost effective. Looking at options in the 30-75 gallon range for now. I can't believe how much has changed over the years - I thought I'd be re-learning a bunch of stuff that I knew before but it has been a mix of learning what's new and realizing I never knew that much! Looking forward to it either way.
