New to hobby Red Sea Max 130D

Hello, I am new here. I recently purchased a Red Sea Max 130D. Have 2 clowns and 3 blue-green chromis in it so far. I am having trouble getting the protien skimmer to work correctly and have been looking for the adjustable surface skimmer with no luck. Excited to be here!

Depending on how new, I have found the Red Sea skimmers to go crazy for a while. Just open the drain (keeping it in the sump) until it settles down. Then close the drain and work to adjust the skimmer to the level you want. Sorry didn’t realize nano (might be similar though).
