Im so excited that my 90 gal is finally full of water. Tomorrow I get the sand from my lfs. Any tips or suggestions are well appreciated. Started a yr ago with a 29 gal jbj. It's cool just not big enough. Goodnight everyone!

It will be live sand from my local shop again. Been thinking about using crushed coral as substrate. What is your opinion on crushed coral?

I like/use crushed coral. I like high flow in my tanks, so, crushed coral is easier to manage and keep in place.

My only suggestion , if the rocks are not already in the tank, is to put them in BEFORE the sand! The reason for this is they will be much more steady on the tank bottom than they will be in shifting sand.
