With FW 7.40 for GHL profilux 4 (GCC 1.1.5.0) comes new scheduling methods for KH/ION director. Before you could only schedule x times a day (up to 24) and for all days in a week. From this FW you can also use a timer in order to initiate a test, You use the event start mode in a timer of your chose. You can program up to 8 different start times and you can chose which weekdays it should test. You do not need to test every day nowadays. Its possible to only test once a week if you want that . For the moment I only dose between 20:00 in the evening to 10:00 in the morning (8:00 PM and 10:00 AM). I use adaption mode. Its rather useless for me to test between 10:00 and 20:00 because I do not dose and the KH is supposed to decrease during this time. During the period 20:00 to 10:00 I have a base dose that cover the calculated demand for the whole day. During this time I also run a very aggressive adaption. If the measured value is below the set point with 0.2 - the dose is doubled and if it is higher than 0.2 . the dose is zero - my goal is that I should have the same KH att 10:00 every morning - for the moment 8.4. Because of this I need to test often during the night and I have 7 test occasion between 23:15 and 09:15. but only one during the day - at 20:15. I need a test here because I start dosing 20:30.
I´m just in the test phase but it has work well during this first night

NOTE This FW update (to 7.40 and above) will reset your P4 to default. Its important that you have saved all settings and sensor data before the update. You need also to do new virtual probes if you have done such probes. For me - I had also to assign my PAB devices again. The boxes was unchecked after the update
