I was thinking of going with the natura. Rock work is mostly in the center of the tank about 28-30in wide.
You dont think one natura would work? looking at the specs it says it should be good for that?
They both look to have the same amount of leds with the difference being the atlantik using 5w leds and the natura using 6w. I would think two naturas would be overkill but not sure.
What are the differences between them?

Icon covers a slightly larger area than Natura.
Natura is powerful and distributes light well over a 25" area.
You only need one Natura.

Have Orphek fixed the issue of the LEDs burning out on the boards and melting the lenses every 2.5 years?

2 icons and 2 melted boards running at 70%

Crap quality
All this has long been corrected in the new Icon.
Orphek is now number one in quality and price on the market.

How long ago?

My 2 icons are less than 3 years old and both have melted the LEDs and lenses.

Do you know if the replacements boards you have to buy are upgraded or like for like?

Hardware updates are done regularly and the product is constantly being improved.
3 years ago is a very long time, a lot has changed since then.
I have a large Coral Farm, all hung with Orphek Icon, Amazonas 960 and OR3 lamps.
Not a single diode has burned out, although I have lamps that are about 2.5 years old.

Our company receives the latest versions directly from the factory. If you need an upgrade for your old lamps, you can order them on our website.

I have 2 natura icon fixtures and 1 or3 60" blue plus bar. Could you share the settings to duplicate that spectrum that is on your website?

Hi!
I don't use Natura lights on my systems yet.
I use Icon DEEP for Acropora and Atlantik Icon for LPS and Softies Corals.

I haven't seen any updates on user experience with the Natura so i thought i would post an update on mine. I'm running my own simple 20Kish program along with the lunar cycle and things are looking very good. I'll post a short video soon of my little 75 but in the meantime here's a few pics.

This was taken with my phone yesterday on the ramp down about 2 hours before lunar kicks in. the POP isn't really captured well but it DOES BRING OUT POP!

i have a couple good size galaxias and both have great color but the Natura really pops this one and brings out the purple.

Could you post your settings? Simple is good for me because channel spectrum color isn't my strong point in the hobby.

will do

i have a 9 a.m. PST to 9 p.m. schedule with my noops delayed by an hour (noops off at 10) then its full lunar cycle until sunrise. I'm lower on on the 590 to 740nm range and focused on the blues with heavy royal, blue plus (so to speak) and violets. The i have channel 1 at 25% and 2 at 30%

I'll post my percentages when at peak (3 PST)

here's the graph right now before lights on. channel 3 and 4 are matched and the highest so it appears that only channel 4 is showing.
