I have had a maxima clam for two days. Purchased from TSM aquatics. He seemed to acclimate well, (although he had a few pyramid snails) and looked good for 2 days. This morning he is showing some smallish irregular faded spots on his mantle. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated
He is currently housed with an Ingnitus Anthias and a few blue legged hermits in a 50 gallon. Tia!

I don’t like- looks like tissue damage from snails. Take immediate pics under WHITE LIGHT and submit to TSM
Assure:
Salinity no higher than 1.026
Alk no higher than 11
CA no higher than 450
Temperature no higher than 80
Nitrate no higher than 10
Mag no higher than 1350

Will do. Salinity is is 102.5
Alk is 11
Calc 400
Temp 79
Nitrate according Seachem is .5-1
Have no mag test atm.
I've contacted them and they told me to watch it for a few days and if he doesn't make it that they would replace or refund. I was just hoping that there might be Something I can do to help treat this.

Also moderate water flow, good lighting and PH 8.1-8.3
Also any corals nearby ? This could be stinging. You want other corals 4" or more away from it

IF it looks worse tomorrow - Thats IF, you can give it a 2-3 minute freshwater dip same temp as display tank to cleanse any imperfections.

PH matched as well? The only thing anywhere near it.. probably 4" away is a zombie-eyed chalice frag. 1" diameter. PH is 8 to 8.1 and phosphates are 0.

Also, Nero 5 on the opposite side of the peninsula tank and aquascape... is running at about 1650gph random 8am-6pm and 1200gph night pulse.
