The tank is not too young. That is a myth. Just scoop it up and place onto some rock crevice or somewhere where it can attatch easily and not get blown off. I have had several hundred of these anemones.
For new reefers I absolutely disagree. Multiple posts a week usually with people having a young tank and an angry nem.

Just an update. Moved it yesterday to the spot I put it when I first got it. Seems a lot happier and healthier, I guess sometimes these guys do need a little help lol!
