Sure man what’s yours e mail address?
also that’s an old picture here is how it looks now, the lights work real well
Waynerock: Not sure if it was overlooked or maybe I overlooked you mentioning it but, I'm really interested in that reefbrite LED strip you have straddling the AI Primes. Is there any way you could tell me which model that is and what length? I've been struggling with getting my AI Prime 16HDs to "look good" and that complimentary Reef Brite fixture may be a good option. In my opinion, I don't think the AI Primes alone look very good. I'm assuming its the Reef Brite 15" XHO 50/50? Thanks much!

I don’t think the XHO added anything but a little extra par. I never had them up to high power wise. I had 2 primes (3 total) that were 24 inches apart and used the XHO 24 inch and snugged the legs right onto the prime hard mount. It held but after about 4-5 months the plastic screw that holds the mount to the tank blew out from the weight and I took the XHO off. AI was nice enough to send me a free light mount though. Unless you have some reinforcement I would not follow suit. All in all I don’t think it brought much to the table. I have switched my landscape and decided to focus more on LPs with the same 3 primes and it looks great.

I appreciate the information. I'm running 2 AI Prime 16HD pucks over a 36" wide 40 breeder. I'm all over the place with lighting and I'm trying to find a sweet spot that looks good and makes the corals pop. You'd think after 2 years, I'd be there by now. I always end up adding a coral and for some reason or another it starts to go south and I end up chasing lighting\nutrients\etc. I'm going to slowly drop my lighting and try out your settings. Last time I did this though all of the coralline algae in my tank turned grey\white. Bumped the (cool white) lighting back up and purpled up again. Taking it slower this time. Thanks again for your quick response and great information. Tank looks awesome! If you ever get time, I'd love to hear what your alk\calc\mg\nitrate\phosphate numbers are. Like I said, I'm trying to stabilize my tank as I've been chasing numbers all this time. Time to get it right and who better to ask than someone who's tank looks awesome.

I got 3 on my 36” and using these settings since October and have been rocking some good growth both sps and lps. They recommend 13 inch height but I have been using 10 inches but the two lights on the sides are a slight bit turned in

What setting would everyone suggest for a 55gal 4ft rectangle mixed reef tank ?
It's not the size of the tank but the spectrum your looking for. Also how deep is the tank? How many are you mounting over the tank? Mixed reef minimum 4, better 6. At that point two 4 foot ReefBreeders would be cheaper and give you less shadowing( more coverage).
