Milled from a single block of wood to the exact case size of Neptune ACjr, AC3 and AC3pro. Simply snaps to the front of your controller and hides the wires. Starts shipping next week!

Looks good Dan. Big change from the old ones.

Thanks Rik, I did try several variations out of plastic before finally accepting that wood was the proper material for this application. I hate sawdust in the shop so I was pretty reluctant to mill them this way but, the end result is worth it.

Originally we made them out of MDF (pictured above) but we have decided on 3/4" solid poplar for production. Poplar takes both light and dark stains equally as well as paint. Since we are shipping these sanded and sealed for final stain/paint we want the customer to have the best options for finishing to match their stand or room decor.

Also, we have received an overwhelming blast of emails/pm's regarding these already. Since we are expecting the initial shipments leaving in about a week we thought this might be a good candidate for a club level group buy. I have the details almost worked out and will post later if there is interest.

We had a chance to finish a few of the solid wood versions of the AC3 mounts this weekend.

Here is the detail pics showing how the controller actually mounts to the wall.

If you notice in the above picture, the back of the controller has 4 screws. Remove all four of those and place the new plastic backplate that is included with the kit on the back. Use the new longer screws that have been provided to firmly attach this backplate:

View from the front showing the screws for attaching to the wall. These screws are included as well as drywall anchors.
