Hello Everyone,

I have been in the hobby for a while but this is the time using an apex. I ordered a new apex jr from brs for a IM15 gallon AIO i'm setting up. I plugged it in and got it connected to my WIFI and logged into the fusion web page, after i plugged in the temp and ph probes it doesn't do anything. It seems like the head unit doesn't recognize that anything is plugged in

the temp probe currently reads 19.3 and the ph probe reads 1.58, the web page displays this weather they are plugged in or not

Did i get a bad unit right out the box or did i miss something during setup?

make sure you didn't swap the probes.. were they wet before you placed into sump? did you calibrate with included fluids?
Make sure you apply all updates ,also make sure to check in settings how often data is updated... fusion is real time but can be lagged in my experience.

i didn't change anything regarding the probes, the temp probe has an phone line connector and the ph probe has a round connector. Temp probe was shipped dry and i put into the tank, the PH probe was shipped with liquid filled cap on the end. I tried to calibrate it but it just times out.

I had one of these things on my cadlights 45 shallow. Biggest pain in the rear ever. It was super finicky. But when it was set up it was awesome. Also their customer service is top notch. These new ones may be a lot more user friendly but the older unit I had was a very steep learning curve. The one I had didn’t look anything like these new ones.

I wish you luck in setting this up. You’ll need it

Thanks for the replies
i did the update

The thing that me thinks the head unit doesnt see the probes is that if i unplug the ports for the head unit, nothing changes on the screen. Weather the probes are plugged in or not the readings dont change
