Hi,
I just joined here and my tank build is waiting for approval so I apologize if this is too much info. I have had my reef tank for about a year now. I have other corals that I have had for since November that are doing really well (zoas, mushrooms, antheas, daisy star polyps, green clove polyps). The params have been stable for a while (Am 0, Ni 0, Na 10, pH 8.2, Temp 80F, Ca 450, dKh 12), so I ordered a green bubble tip anemone from AquaSD about a week ago. It picked a spot where my zoas were on day two (lol of course), so I moved the zoas out of its way, and it has stayed in that spot since then. My issue is that the tips haven't seemed to expand that much since then. I'm not sure how much of that is it still settling in, or if it's not doing well. I have been dosing reef roids in hopes it would perk up but it has not yet. I have some pictures below. Here is more detailed info about my tank:
My specs
Filter: Fluval 107 canister filter, with filter floss, phosx, 30 PPI foam pads
Lights: Orbit Marine LED, set to B 100% W 80% R 20% G 20% (ramps up and down daily)
Skimmer: MagTool Nano AIO 40Gal
Wavemaker: UnicLife 1058GPH 30-60Gal, using 30% power
Heater: Marineland Precision Heater 100W, 29Gal
Test Kits: API marine and API reef master
Livestock
Fish: 2 ocellaris clownfish, 3 green chromis
CUC: blue leg hermits, cerith snails, nerite snails, nassarius snails, baby lettuce nudibranches, tigger copepods
Corals: 3 mushrooms, 5 zoas, 1 leather tree, 1 duncan, 1 daisy star polyps, 1 green star polyps, 1 green clove polyps, 1 red gorgonian, 1 waving antheas
Other: Green Bubble Tip Anemone (new)
Tank Conditions
pH: 8.2
Temp: 80 F
Salinity: 1.025
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10
Phos: < 0.25
Calcium: 450
dKh: 12
I know that nems like stability, so I'm not sure if I should change anything or wait another week. I'm pretty anxious about this, and I don't want my new guy to die! Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
