Hi all!
As I build my 29 gallon, I have been thinking ahead about stocking. So far here is what I feel like I can take once I start running (will be FOWLR initially):

Starcki Damsel (wanted a pygmy angel but felt this was a nice psuedo-angel)
A pair of clowns
A mandarin dragonet

Inverts:
Brittle stars
Cleaner shrimp (or sexy shrimp)

I wanted to go minimalistic (also don't know what else I would put in it) but this is it so far!

Maybe try a cherub (argi) in place of the damsel- they’re the smallest of all the pygmies and *generally pretty mild mannered.
I was considering the cherub angel but I felt like it was way more active than my tank could accommodate.

Pink-streaked wrasse or a possum wrasse ?

I am stocking a 24g AIO cube with 2 clowns, yasha goby, neon goby and then considering one of those 2 wrasses
I haven't loaded it yet though

Mandarin might be hard to keep unless you get an aquacultured one. Have you considered an engineer goby?
I also have experience with picky eaters. They can't resist white worms in my experience.

They peaceful? Are they sedentary or active?

I have heard these wrasses are some of the most reclusive/shy of the wrasses. I have also heard they are the most peaceful. The pink-streaked only gets to about 2 1/2" and is slightly smaller than the possums max size. How 'sedentary' though I am not sure but as wrasses I think they will zoom around a fair amount. It might be too active for your goals. I have read that pink-streaked benefit from having groups so I could try to add more pink-streaked down the line too!
